Description: A subtly surreal oasis ‘cruising’ above the city Urban regeneration is fascinating and meaningful and challenges to inject new life and modes of living. The 27-storey Venture apartment overlooking the sea beyond the old Hong Kong airport area is crowned with a private club for residents. The central idea was to combine a tropical vibe with the sense of being on a cruise liner. The Club Cruiser looks a bit like a spaceship landed on top of the building. But inside, and looking out to the sea, you could imagine somewhere like Phuket, a private resort floating above Kai Tak, that felt connected with nature rather than the city below.
